Location Columbia Crossings embraces the
region from the Deschutes River confluence
with the Columbia River to the the John Day
River confluence and along both sides of the
Columbia River. It incorporates the two
"crossings" of the Sam Hill Memorial Bridge
and the John Day Dam. Interstate 84 runs right through the middle of the region, and U.S. Highway 97 intersects the interstate at Biggs Junction.
